Terms of service

Last updated: 18 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Onecape. Onecape is an autonomous marketing engine: it plans strategy, drafts content and creatives, and publishes to the social accounts you connect, on your behalf and within limits you set. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to what follows. We keep it plain because you should be able to understand what you are agreeing to.

Who we are

Onecape (“we”, “us”) provides the Onecape platform. If you have any question about these terms, contact us at contact@dextrlabs.com.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.
  • You must give accurate account information, and you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
  • If you add other people to your organisation, you are responsible for their use of the service and for the access you grant them.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

Publishing on your behalf

This is the part worth reading twice, because it is what makes Onecape different from a text editor.

  • When you connect a social account, you authorise us to post to it on your behalf, within the autonomy level you choose for that brand and channel.
  • Every new connection starts at approve-each: nothing is published until you approve it. Higher autonomy levels, including automatic posting, are something you turn on deliberately, per brand and per channel, and you can turn them off at any time.
  • You remain the author and publisher of everything posted to your accounts. You are responsible for what goes out under your name, including anything published automatically at a level you enabled.
  • You are responsible for following the rules of each platform you connect, and for any advertising, disclosure, or industry rules that apply to your business.
  • Disconnecting an account, or turning autonomy down, stops future posts. It does not retract posts that have already gone out.

AI-generated content

  • Onecape uses AI models to draft copy and creatives. AI output can be wrong, out of date, or unsuitable, and it can state things about your business that are not true.
  • Review before you publish, and review especially before you raise autonomy. Claims about prices, offers, results, availability, legal or medical matters, and anything a customer could rely on are yours to verify.
  • We do not guarantee that generated content is original, accurate, or free of third-party rights. You decide what is fit to publish.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of the brand material you give us and of the content published to your accounts.
  • You grant us the permission we need to host, process, and publish that material in order to run the service for you. Nothing more.
  • You confirm you have the rights to the material you upload, including logos, images, documents, and anything you ask us to publish.

Acceptable use

Do not use Onecape to:

  • publish anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or infringing;
  • impersonate a person or organisation, or post to accounts you are not authorised to use;
  • run spam, engagement farms, or bulk unsolicited messaging;
  • break the terms of a connected platform, or work around a platform’s limits, review process, or automation rules;
  • attempt to breach, overload, or reverse engineer the service.

We may suspend or remove access if the service is used this way, and we may do it without notice where the risk is immediate.

Availability and changes

  • Onecape is early software and is currently provided free of charge. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features can change or be withdrawn.
  • Third-party platforms and AI providers can change or restrict their APIs at any time, which can stop a connection or a feature working through no fault of either of us.
  • If we introduce paid plans, we will say so clearly before anything you use starts costing money.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, revenue, goodwill, or data, or for the consequences of content published through the service, including content published automatically at an autonomy level you enabled. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

  • You can stop using Onecape and ask us to delete your account at any time.
  • We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service. Where we reasonably can, we will give notice first.
  • On deletion we remove your data as described in the privacy policy. Disconnecting your social accounts revokes the access tokens we hold.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will tell you about changes that materially affect you. Continuing to use Onecape after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
